Father of Sardar Paramjit Singh Hunjan, M.A., B.Ed., M.Phil.,refused him to pay his fee to take admission in
BA because he was not in favor of higher studies as
he thought it was best for boys to work in factories.
But Sardar Paramjit Singh was determined to decorate
him self with degree of M.Phil. So he started to take
tuition and work as LIC agent to continue his studies
and livelihood. |

Sardar Paramjit Singh
was Born to Smt. Surjit Kaur Bhamra on 20th June 1963 in Ludhiana. His father Sardar Gurdev Singh Hunjan shifted at
Ludhiana from Village Bhikhi near Rara Sahib Ludhiana and worked at Punjab Mechanical works for few years and
then started to manufacture Hosiery machines. Sardar
Paramjit Singh did his higher secondary from Ramgarhia
higher Sec. School in 1981. Then he completed his graduation
from Govt College Ludhiana in 1985 and M.A., from the same
college in 1988. He did his B.Ed from G.H.G Khalsa College
Sudhar Distt.Ludhiana and M.Phil from Jammu University on
Drama in 1994. He also did master in journalism from Patiala
University in 1995. He received roll of honour at Govt
College. |

He served as Gen Sec of
Indian People Theater association Jammu from 1991-1994. He
acted in “Upharan Bhaichareka” a nukker Nattak which had
staged more than 100 shows with S. Gursharan Singh. He had
worked as Book Reviewer & Script writer of Jammu Radio
Station. He worked in Daily Ajit also, Now he is a staff
reporter of Daily "Desh Sewak". He started to celebrate
Vishavkarma day out side Vishavkarma Mandir with his close
associates in 1987 and released Audio cassette of Surinder
Shida (A Renowned Punjabi singer) "Vishavkarma Ustati" on that occasion. |

He is very much thankful
to Sardar Tara Singh Hunajan who had paid his fee for P.Hd.
He was honoured by many sabha societies. A special award was
given to him at Varinder yadgari Mela. He was press
secretary of Prof Mohan Singh Foundation. He got married to
Smt. Gurdeep Kaur Mankoo Daughter of Sardar Sukhdev Singh
Retired Engg. Irrigation Dept.of Sangrur on 11th April 1993. She
did her graduation from Ranbir college, Sangrur in 1986 and
MA political science in 1990. Home science was her favourite
subject in BA .She is a very good cook. She organized
many cooking classes at various places. She fetched
various prize in athletics during her college times. The
couple is providing free tuitions to poor and needy
Ramgarhia children. The couple is blessed with a daughter. |
