S.   J a s p a l   S i n g h   K a l s i

     "  Guinness book of world record holder S. Jaspal Singh Kalsi is a master of miniature models. Now he displays his latest creation of a mini football measuring one centimeter and held in a hand fitted on a pencil. Although he is not recognized by local or state level Authorities, but he is popular in the whole world for his creations. He never misses any opportunity to create a miniature model on the hot theme of the day. Either it is cricket match or bus travel between India Pakistan.   "

      His creative mind is always alert to create unique items on the current news. S. Jaspal Singh Kalsi was born to Smt. Gurbachan Kaur Panesar in Amritsar, on 14th March 1968. His father S. Surinder Singh was a multidimensional personality. He was a good lathe operator, photographer and a proprietor of New Light Rickshaw Company.

     S. Jaspal Singh got his education from St. Joseph High School, Amritsar. During studies he always helped his father in manufacturing Rickshaws. After completing his studies he started to help his father. S. Jaspal Singh was very good in drawing from the childhood. So when ever he got time he started to design Glow Sign and other unique items. He is also a very good electrician and perfect electric motor mechanic.

    

     

     In 1988 he started to learn work of handy craft. He made the horse for chess. Once he made a small chess board that was only 6mm. it was the smallest board in the world, but it was difficult to play chess on that board. Then he developed 32 mm wooden magnetic chess with all pieces to play. It was the world’s first miniature chess on which two players can play. It was the happy moments when S. Jaspal Singh received the letter from the office of Guinness Book of World Records that your creation is accepted it was 27th March 2001. He is interviewed by Doordarshan Jalandhar and many other TV channels. Wide coverage of his miniature work is done by local and international newspapers.

   

     S. Jaspal Singh Kalsi married to Smt. Harmeet Kaur Jabble on February 27th 1994. She is main source of inspiration behind him. The couple is blessed with a son and daughter.
