S. Amrik Singh Sembhi born on 13th March 1959 to
Smt. Gurmeet Kaur Hunjan in Tanzania, Africa. His father S. Ajit
Singh Sembhi was an engineer in Africa. He shifted to UK and decided
to settle at Derby, England UK.
S. Amrik
Singh got his primary education from Africa. He shifted to India and
continued his study at Patiala. He did matriculation from Yadwindra
Public School in 1975.Then he joined his father at derby UK in 1976.
At Derby he started to get training of Car repair and maintenance. In
1981 he established his own car repair workshop by the name of
“Sembhi Motor Services” at Derby, UK. He
was fond of watching car rallies because
speed always excited his inner sports person.
while watching he always desire to participate.
In 1991
he started to participate in club rallies. In 1993 he
participated at Kenya Safari Rally. In 1995 he went to U.A.E. as
spectator of car rally. He adjudged that this is the better and safe
place then Africa to fulfill his dreams. He made his mind to participate
in Middle East Sports Car rally. With his hard work and ambition to
win he started to learn tips. In 1996 he participated and cleared all six rounds
with co driver. That was the happy moments, but a big target was
awaiting to achieved
