was invited by Ramgarhia Tarkahn Samiti to
attend the birthday of Maharaja Jassa Singh at
Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. During the function
I met Dr Gurmukh Singh Bhanwra. I was
already aware
of the good work of Dr. Bhanwra for
Ramgarhia community . He
organised a big function at Rajasthan, few
years back and the photographs of the great

Dr Gurmukh Singh
Bhanwra is soft spoken and kind hearted person. He born to Smt Chand
Kaur Chana and S. Sajjan Singh Bhanwra at Ganga Nagar Rajasthan on 5th
January 1940. He has been a brilliant student during his studies . He
did middle class from his village school in 1953 then matriculation
and F.Sc from SGN Khalsa College Sri Ganga Nagar in 1957. He secured
good marks and made the family proud with his achievements. He joined medical college Bikanr, Rajesthan
for the medical degree. He was the first in the village to receive
the MBBS degree .After completing the MBBS in 1966, he joined
primary health centre
Bikaner
, Rajesthan. Then he transferred to Ajmer and was promoted as
District Health
Officer. He returned back to Ganga Nagar and promoted as Deputy
Chief Medical and Health officer ( Family Welfare) in 1986. in 1991 he became
Chief Medical and Health Officer Distt. Sri Ganganagar.
In 1997 he became Joint Director Medical and Health
Services, Rajasthan. He retired from the same post in
1998.

During the carrier he accomplishes his duty very
honestly and without any allegation and complaint.
Ramgarhia of Rajesthan feel proud of him. He was
honoured during his excellent services . In 1969 he
formed "Ramgarhia Welfare Society" Sri Ganga Nagar and
started to work for the unity and welfare of the community.
Being a government employs he
could not work actively but his team done well for the upliftment of ramgarhia in Rajasthan. |

After retirement he was elected unanimously as the president
of "Ramgarhia Welfare Society" Sri Ganganagar. he served
the society as president from 1998-2001 and organised
a big function to aware ramgarhia about our rich heritage.
He
is very active in Rajasthan, he almost attend every
function of ramgarhia in Rajasthan. Now he is providing
selfless service to the poor and
contributing consistently to ramgarhia association.
Dr
Bhanwra married to Smt Gurdev Kaur Rajpal on 20th
May 1970

couple is blessed with 2 daughters and a son |
